The Plexxcon Remedial team were engaged to remediate the identified concrete cancer on the balconies at a Body Corporate complex.

The scope of works included the removal of loose concrete and the vertical lengths of reinforcement steel at the balcony slab edges, then the infill of the slab with structural mortar and the application of a waterproof membrane to the outer 300m of the slab edge and finally the make good.

The team were engaged to do this on over 400 concrete patches across the two tower residential complex whilst the units remained occupied.
