Plexxcon has completed the Caloundra Events Centre Goods Hoist Lift project for the Sunshine Coast Council.

Plexxcon were engaged for the supply and installation of a new goods hoist lift for the building as well as demolition and removal of the existing hoist and the associated infrastructure, building modifications to enable the installation of the new hoist, installation of the new hoist and the installation of a Building Management System (BMS).

This project was completed in stages in line with the Event Centre’s existing event calendar to ensure that there was no disruption caused to the centre while construction took place. The project team successfully handed this project over to the Sunshine Coast Council in mid June 2025.
